This small Japanese Daruma doll is a modern take on a traditional good luck charm from Japanese folklore. Daruma dolls symbolise perseverance, resilience and good fortune: you paint one eye when you set a goal, then the second when it is achieved.

Keeping the classic red colour and bold facial expression, this mini version is designed to feel both traditional and contemporary, with a smooth resin finish and detailed sculpt.

Handmade in my studio

Each Daruma is:

• Sculpted in 3D and printed in high-quality resin

• Hand-painted with rich pigments using brush and airbrush

• Sealed with a protective varnish to preserve colour and shine

Because they’re hand-painted, small variations make every piece unique.
